The awards ceremony and a look at Vietnam and Mauritius
The inauguration event and the awards ceremony will take place on Saturday 2 October, starting at 5 pm. During the evening, the 7 absolute winners of the two editions will be awarded, who will receive a cash prize of 10 thousand euros each. The 42 artists chosen by the international partners of Arte Laguna Prize will also be nominated , who will have the opportunity to participate in art residencies, gallery exhibitions, festivals, collaborations with companies and prizes for the artistic reuse of recycled materials.
Arte Laguna Prize 2021
Henry Le
The Arte Laguna Prize exhibition will be an opportunity to discover the works of Henry Le , a Vietnamese artist that the MoCA cultural association brings to Venice for the first time. For the "Soul Energy" exhibition, curated by Chiara Canali and set up from 2 to 12 October at Tesa 99 of the North Arsenal, the artist will exhibit a series of large-scale paintings and majestic sculptures that evoke his homeland and reflect his personal artistic research.
